    none I don't want to filter out any of zooplankton, I 've got lots of copods, ampods, mistist shrimp and baby brine shrimp flowing in system plus I want this water dirtier than whats in the other system to see if I can grow LPS which I had no luck with so far

    Okay......so confused! So if I am concentrating on LPS and softies should I leave off the sock. It is not a high micron and the skimmer is working great. What direction to take?

    I'd use the sock to polish water when needed but don't think you need it 24-7
